40 Before 40

~Goals that are not written down are just wishes~

If you have not heard me say it before I will be surprised.  I like notes, calendars and lists.   I feel more motivated when I can sit down, put pen to paper and clear up my mind.   Everything has a nice order and seems easier to accomplish.  Now generally that is as far as I get, I am actually really bad at putting the check marks beside the 'to do'.  I have made my lists public before and they did not provide any more motivation than if I had kept it private.   So please, feel free to cheer me on as I try to accomplish 40 things before I turn 40.  Gosh that sounds scary enough on its own.     

40 Things to do Before I am 40

1. Knit one thing, even if it is just a square.​
2. Bought a Ukulele now learn to play one song on it.
3. Live in Costa Rica for at least a month.
4. Finish a PAINT BY NUMBER
5. Cut out excess sugar.
6. Be able to do a headstand.
7. Get Boudoir photos taken 01/30/2018
8. Travel to Fiji and kayak hop the islands.
9. ZERO DEBT
10. 7 DAY breakfast challenge ~ New plate everyday and photograph with recipes.
11. OWN a Sauna
12. Be fluent in Spanish
13. Complete a novel for NANOWRIMO
14. Go to the theatre. (I used to go often, but now it has been years.) Pleasure seeing; Grease
15. Turn my home into a winter wonderland.
16. Throw a Gatsby themed party.
17. Take my dad on a vacation.
18. Cook a fancy meal for my husband.
19. Rollerblade on the Lakeshore in Toronto.
20. Skate (again) on the Rideau Canal
21. Buy a skateboard. (always wanted one)
22. SUP everyday for an entire month. (RAIN excluding lightning or SHINE)
23. Go to the Spa for a weekend.
24. Dye my dogs hair. (Well have it done professionally)
25. Use my Snowshoes.
26. LOSE 40 lbs
27. Write and send random greeting cards to people.
28. Go to British Columbia
29. Road Trip out to the East Coast
30. Get my nose pierced. May 29 2013
31. BIG reduction in Waste
32. Volunteer in Prince Edward County
33. Renovate our outbuilding into a multipurpose space.
34. Create a Graffiti picture journal.
35. Adopt a Wild Animal (think WWF).
36. Get a record player so I can actually listen to my records.
37. Keep a two week FRUGAL diary.
38. Be able to move back into home in Toronto (seasonally)
39. Have a profitable Inn business
