​Cluck Cluck’s Chicken and Waffles

​From their super cute name to their freshly made warm waffles, what’s not to love? This gem is  located near the Distillery District and well worth the order.
Go to dish: Holy Cluck! $11.99.  It’s a fried boneless chicken breast on top of a giant waffle with your choice of sauce (My poison is the house cluck sauce, great for chicken or dippin’ some fries)

Fake Taco​

Perfect for Taco Tuesday’s and for when you want something healthy! Fake Taco is 100% vegan and they even got their start through Foodora! They sound pretty smart to me !
Go to dish:   Jackfruit Al Pastor Tacos $15.00. You get 3 delish pulled young jack fruit roasted with fresh pineapple juice, homemade adobo, onion, spices and herbs garnished with onion, grilled pineapple and cilantro and served on the cutest little pink beet tortillas you ever did see! Also, I definitely need to order a side of fresh guac and chips with this one, so I add the Tortilla Guacamole $8.50 to the order as well! Treat yourself!

looking for something cheap and cheerful and most importantly, quick? Grab a Vietnamese sandwich from Banh Mi Boys, they have multiple locations, so it’ll be a breeze to find one near you!
Go to dish: Grilled Pork Banh Mi $6.25. This sandwich is DELICIOUS. Perfectly grilled pork with lemongrass, Asian BBQ sauce and mayo.  I also like to add a little hot sauce on top.  Also, are you into Kimchi fries? You have a few options to choose from with Banh Mi Boys, Sweet potato Kimchi fries, Tofu Kimchi fries or you’re run of the mill regular Kimchi fries with prices from $7.25.
