From Apple Orchards to Drive-In Movies: My Fall Adventure with the Mitsubishi Outlander

​There’s something about fall in Ontario that always inspires a road trip. The leaves are changing, the air feels crisp, and weekends are made for chasing cozy adventures. So, when I got the chance to take the Mitsubishi Outlander out for a little day trip, I packed up my camera, a cozy blanket, and of course, Willie, my tiny but fearless travel buddy , and hit the road.

First Stop: The Apple Orchard 🍏

We headed out of Toronto early to catch that golden morning light and made our way toward one of my favourite apple orchards. The drive itself was so smooth- Mitsubishi Motors has re-tuned the suspension and added extra sound-deadening material, which means you barely hear a thing except your playlist (Hello, Rubber Tire Peep Show!).

​Speaking of sound - the new Dynamic Sound Yamaha Premium Audio System is unreal. It’s like bringing concert-quality audio to your car. I had my fall playlist going the whole way, and it honestly felt like my own little road trip soundtrack.

The orchard was beautiful, and the Outlander’s spacious trunk came in handy when it was time to load up on apples, cider, and a few treats for the drive-in later. With standard third-row seating, there’s more than enough room for friends, blankets, snacks -or in my case, one very spoiled Pomapoo.

Second Stop: The Drive-In 

As the sun started to set, we headed to the drive-in movie theatre -one of my favourite fall traditions. I love that nostalgic mix of headlights glowing in the dark and the smell of popcorn in the air. The Outlander made the experience feel extra special - the refined interior is so comfortable, with soft-touch finishes and a redesigned centre console that makes everything easy to reach.
Once the movie started, the Yamaha sound system worked its magic again, making the drive-in feel like a private cinema. The seats were cozy, the cabin quiet, and the mood - perfection.​

The more we drove the Outlander, the more it felt like the perfect companion for Canadian life.
